These images were each created as gifts - I have started or planned a couple for myself but never quite get around to completing them (I only have a very simplified image of Mary which can be found on my painting page). They are technically "religious art" not "icons" because of the process - I am self-taught in the distinction, but my training as a classical artist, worrying about proportions and other technical details, distract me from fully entering into the prayerful surrender of an iconographer - though I am mindful enough to listen to religious audiobooks, podcasts, or music in a tribute to the prayerful process associated with these subjects.
